When Jarl Axelsson fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Jarl Axelsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stellan Wallmark got free with Flavinho Reis in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 11th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Emil Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sundborn IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Saad was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Flavinho Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Wallmark's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Emil Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Palma in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 17th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Emil Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Salah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Flavinho Reis made a huge save. After 20 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ely. 23 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Wallmark came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Saad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börje Åkesson came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavinho Reis could save by the left post. Emil Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Palma in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Albäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Caetano Saad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Duset showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bater Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Bater Palma took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Duset. Emil Duset dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Bater Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Saad in the 57th minute. The corner led CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad to fire away a dangerous shot which Emil Duset despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The attack was good, but when Leonel Martins in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 59th minute, Felix Arenstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Duset made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Arenstedt hit a great ball. Emil Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 69th minute of the match. When Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Chao Chuan came free, but Emil Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bater Palma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Emil Duset made a huge save. In the 81st minute Bater Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Axelsson. In the 94th minute, Caetano Saad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sundborn IF side.
