Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Manúel Bento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gelu Amitroaiei made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radomil Redisz however managed to control. 26 minutes into the match, Frank Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Tufescu. FC MCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Justino Dabi put in a rough tackle. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when Radomil Redisz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomil Redisz. Radomil Redisz might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manúel Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomil Redisz ran back to his position shaking his head. Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Oliverios Marcilla made the kick off in the second half. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Catarinense in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes, Elodio Ghinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC MCM and the Dogelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliverios Marcilla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Tufescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Agusoaei in the 67th minute of play. When Jardel Tande fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dogelo's protests and gave Jardel Tande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Tande to maneuver through the defense. When Allan Clementsson fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Agusoaei in the 92nd minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dogelo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
