Charlie Bucket made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Mendonça in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes Brooklyn SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christiano Tavares who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Christiano Tavares got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charlie Bucket quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernardo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Richard Roma in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dráusio Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Roma, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Richard Roma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charlie Bucket showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Mendonça in the 30th minute of the match. Richard Roma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Roma in the 33rd minute of play. When Brooklyn SC's Richard Roma in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izaltina FAD's goalie prevented a goal. Cristopher Saenz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brooklyn SC! Diguinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Christiano Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Charlie Bucket was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Diguinho Mendonça notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Brooklyn SC's Charlie Bucket. Charlie Bucket was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Izaltina FAD were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Henry Sugar made the kick off in the second half. Oscar de Godoi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 51 played minutes, Brooklyn SC's Douglas Pace shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brooklyn SC reached it. In the 52nd minute Diguinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Bucket saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes, Christiano Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izaltina FAD and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Tavares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Tavares in the 59th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Roma kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Diguinho Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charlie Bucket showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Douglas Pace came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Brooklyn SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Pace couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiano Tavares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charlie Bucket. That made the score 0-4 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th minute, Edgar Chandler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Claudinei Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charlie Bucket was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.
