Mugur Jupâneanu, 3 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Flavinho Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elodio Ghinescu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Elodio Ghinescu scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavinho Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Caetano Saad notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu. Manuel Tufescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Palma in the 26th minute of play. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Redisz in the 28th minute of the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Redisz in the 30th minute of play. FC MCM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugur Jupâneanu in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Elodio Ghinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Redisz in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 51st minute Caetano Saad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Radomil Redisz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elodio Ghinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC MCM made a substitution. Bogdan Agusoaei replaced Florin Gaciu. After 65 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Tufescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radomil Redisz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavinho Reis having to make a save. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 69th minute of play. Ion Panduru hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Radomil Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Radomil Redisz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Agusoaei in the 84th minute of play. When FC MCM's Radomil Redisz in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie prevented a goal. Radomil Redisz scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavinho Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
