The audience thought a goal was coming when Bater Palma got free with Manúel Bento in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Catarinense in the 23rd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliézer Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Oliverios Marcilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manúel Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 36th minute of the match. Dogelo's Manúel Bento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Dogelo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dogelo booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Saad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ulysses Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dogelo's Manúel Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 卓潮川 in the 45th minute of play. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Bater Palma a yellow card for diving instead. Oliverios Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Catarinense scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavinho Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manúel Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Saad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Reis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Catarinense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play.
