Emil Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Felix Arenstedt. Oliverios Marcilla struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Emil Duset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogelo. The audience was convinced that Frank Catarinense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Duset was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Emil Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Catarinense came free, but Emil Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Catarinense in the 20th minute of the match. Dogelo's Frank Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliverios Marcilla got free with Emil Duset in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute of the match Dogelo got a corner. Sundborn IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emil Duset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Catarinense in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Catarinense in the 36th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Emil Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Oliverios Marcilla from a close distance when the talented Emil Duset managed to make a qualified save. Sundborn IF's players were relieved. With a little luck, Sundborn IF's Emil Duset got control of the ball when Oliverios Marcilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Frank Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Duset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Frank Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Duset came out of the goal and Frank Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Dogelo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sundborn IF were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stellan Wallmark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Frank Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Duset was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 60th minute, Frank Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Emil Duset. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Pål Arvidsson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sundborn IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Danış Garipbaş was slow to take the kick. During this time Dogelo's players had a chance to rest. After 65 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Viana. Frank Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Duset having to interfere. Börje Åkesson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manúel Bento. Manúel Bento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Manúel Bento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Salah in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Frank Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Duset breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Catarinense in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Duset saved Sundborn IF from getting behind. After 88 minutes, Frank Catarinense made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sundborn IF's Emil Duset tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Catarinense took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Duset. Emil Duset dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dogelo had won after a very even match.
