After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Bernardo Correia got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira got control of the ball when Börje Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio Oliveira. Dráusio Oliveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dráusio Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mohamed Salah showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Mohamed Salah struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dráusio Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. Stellan Wallmark had several of the Izaltina FAD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Dráusio Oliveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dráusio Oliveira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Izaltina FAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christiano Tavares in the 38th minute. Christiano Tavares made a great header on Izaltina FAD's corner, it was just that Sundborn IF's Emil Duset managed to reach the ball for a save. When Izaltina FAD's Christiano Tavares in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 48th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when José Vítor Duarte made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Felix Arenstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráusio Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izaltina FAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pål Arvidsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundborn IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sundborn IF's Pål Arvidsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dráusio Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 65 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Tavares. Dráusio Oliveira came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn IF's Mohamed Salah. But to his dismay, Mohamed Salah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Rui Arantes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Claudinei Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bernardinho de Senna hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Arenstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Oliveira came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark. But to his dismay, Stellan Wallmark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There was no doubt that Sundborn IF were the better team. Sundborn IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
