The Eintracht Cernavoda fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. Manuel Tufescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Gologan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Elodio Ghinescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Eustacio Sotero however easily saved by the left post. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Tănăsocă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Mircea Bodiu got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Radomil Redisz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero got control of the ball when Elodio Ghinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigel Gologan made a kick off. Doru Baicu charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Baicu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the game, Elodio Ghinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eustacio Sotero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, FC MCM's Radomil Redisz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Sotero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gigel Gologan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Tufescu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Rauf Tezay replaced Narcis Bunescu. FC MCM made a substitution. Bogdan Agusoaei replaced Florin Gaciu. Eustacio Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Agusoaei in the 75th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Cristi Dulca in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC MCM's Leontin Toma. In the 81st minute Radomil Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC MCM defense, Gigel Gologan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Tufescu. The FC MCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Tufescu should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Bogdan Agusoaei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Sotero was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Radomil Redisz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Mircea Bodiu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eintracht Cernavoda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MCM.
