FC MCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Redisz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elodio Ghinescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Rony de Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC MCM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugur Jupâneanu in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match FC MCM got a corner. Izaltina FAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Jupâneanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Izaltina FAD's goalie and right to Gelu Amitroaiei. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Izaltina FAD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rony de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Redisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Neymar Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Manuel Tufescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bernardinho de Senna hit a great ball. When Florin Gaciu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC MCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Gaciu couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Radomil Redisz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony de Medeiros. Izaltina FAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Redisz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Izaltina FAD's Rony de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Redisz in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Neymar Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Rony de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elodio Ghinescu in the 56th minute of the match. Radomil Redisz might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rony de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomil Redisz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rony de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Redisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rony de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Elodio Ghinescu came free, but Rony de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardinho de Senna made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC MCM's Mugur Jupâneanu. In the 96th minute, Radomil Redisz made a precise shot to the right of Rony de Medeiros. Izaltina FAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1.
