In the 6th minute Caetano Saad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráuzio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Iigo in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. AnĂsio Teixeira hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dráuzio Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CE LAJEADENSE RS reached it. In the 15th minute, Celsinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Mauro GalvĂŁo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro GalvĂŁo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Caetano Saad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Vaz's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Teodoro Vaz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by AnĂsio Teixeira in the 29th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sadri Sanal came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Bandelocos were awarded a corner. LĂ©o de Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. Feliciano Dimo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Borges. Dráuzio Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis got control of the ball when VĂktor VergĂlio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bandelocos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CE LAJEADENSE RS were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir Garcia made a kick off. Dráuzio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir Garcia in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Bandelocos fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 63 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Garcia came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Caetano Saad made a precise shot to the right of Dráuzio Borges. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Dimo in the 79th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Dráuzio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dráuzio Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráuzio Borges. Dráuzio Borges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Valdir Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
