The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Burileanu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯轩渊 in the 20th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Dalkvist in the 21st minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Villarprego in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, 【AC】Milan–为你所依's 肖挺阳 got control of the ball when David Eikelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The 肖挺阳 was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 肖挺阳, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Netherlands fans cheered their team off the field, for while 【AC】Milan–为你所依 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
