Fix Romero hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asteri Martínez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Severiano Talavera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Hawk Football Club and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Red Hawk Football Club's Asteri Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Asteri Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asteri Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red Hawk Football Club defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asteri Martínez. The Red Hawk Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asteri Martínez should have stopped the shot. Asteri Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play. Asteri Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Fix Romero. After a defensive mix-up in Red Hawk Football Club's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asteri Martínez came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliazar Urruti. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ioseba Roig's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cipriano Izquierdo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Asteri Martínez. Red Hawk Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Red Hawk Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ioseba Roig to make the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Asteri Martínez made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Asteri Martínez. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Asteri Martínez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliazar Urruti in the 64th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asteri Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Red Hawk Football Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cipriano Izquierdo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Asteri Martínez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Red Hawk Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Asteri Martínez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wim Wilmes scored 0-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asteri Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asteri Martínez came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Hawk Football Club's Asteri Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 92nd minute of play. Netherlands played a much better game than Red Hawk Football Club and deserved their victory. The Red Hawk Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
