Juan Galo scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albardón F.C's Ivan Gaizko was substituted for Rafael Lopez. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Galo in the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Geronimo Eleazar threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Geronimo Eleazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Xandro Sacristán took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Geronimo Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 94th minute of play. Geronimo Eleazar stood somewhat misplaced when Viriato Moura came free in front of goal and shot 4-3 to the left of him in the 95 minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Albardón F.C.
