In the 19th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frans Billström having to make a save. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes, Maximilian Lindberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallboda Gunners and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Peter Skytt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Frans Billström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. Frans Billström made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Holger Berg had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Tallboda Gunners made a substitution. Tomas Ekrot replaced Holger Berg. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. Frans Billström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Billström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Stenqvist in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Frans Billström in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The long shot by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute really tested Frans Billström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Frans Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frans Billström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes Tallboda Gunners's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. 91 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Stenqvist came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tallboda Gunners could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
