Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ömer Halisdemir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Italy's Sostene Vitulli got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alphan Altunç kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy's Siricio Liotta got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ömer Halisdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan Dec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 40th minute of play. Antonello Salomone made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Karl-Åke Lindström. 45 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Dec. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Klawke got free with Flavio Vittori in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Kajetan Dec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 56th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alphan Altunç hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kajetan Dec made a huge save. In the 62nd minute of the match Italy got a corner. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eliseo Cutri made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec managed to reach the ball for a save. Siricio Liotta had several of the Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Kajetan Dec as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kajetan Dec made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, one of Italy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Italy. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Zawisza Bydgoszcz. Lucjan Marchefka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flavio Vittori. 1-2. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 72nd minute of play. If Ömer Halisdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Halisdemir came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porziano Marchitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Răzvan Brădean was substituted for Ömer Halisdemir. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 87th minute. A nice corner shot did that Siricio Liotta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kajetan Dec quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 94 minutes into the match, Guiscardo Davide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Dec. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guiscardo Davide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Kajetan Dec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Curto went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Italy played a much better game than Zawisza Bydgoszcz and deserved their victory. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
