The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Balasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ando Koppelmaa in the 15th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 33 minutes Antarctica IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. Flavio Balasi made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Balasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Antarctica IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Balasi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Flavio Balasi in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Antarctica IF's Rollo Engdahl got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Erubiel Claus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After a rather tough play, Antarctica IF's Erubiel Claus got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 60 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Balasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antarctica IF's Flavio Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Antarctica IF's Emanuel Lehior got a free kick in the 67th minute. Antarctica IF's Teofilo Etxahun was substituted for Rollo Engdahl. The supporters of Belgium booed when Antarctica IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 72nd minute of play forced Antarctica IF's goalkeeper Flavio Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Antarctica IF got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Derwin. In the 90th minute of the match Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Balasi skillfully saved the ball.
