Astrit Melisarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Franco Bellucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Aurelio Vodanovic notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franco Bellucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Hungary's Boros Benedek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Boros Benedek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hungary protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Boros Benedek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Aurelio Vodanovic shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Franco Bellucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Major Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almazarrón's Franco Bellucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 70 minutes Almazarrón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick.
