Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, LaZuli's Zachariasz Dunajski got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Netherlands booed when LaZuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Liberato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jorge Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, David Liberato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jorge Infante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Galvão:s penalty. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Liberato, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when LaZuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Dunajski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Infante. LaZuli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 32nd minute of play forced LaZuli's goalkeeper Jorge Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Moreno came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute of play forced LaZuli's goalkeeper Jorge Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Zachariasz Dunajski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Infante came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play forced LaZuli's goalkeeper Jorge Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, LaZuli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Quadros to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jorge Infante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 79th minute of play. Henrique Durães hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes, LaZuli's Mariano Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LaZuli reached it. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
