Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Hvalica got the match started through his kick off. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adrian Lohitzun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
