The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Anıl Baran Fırat despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MURAT KARAKOÇ from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. MURAT KARAKOÇ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emirşah Açıkel's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emirşah Açıkel helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Latif Bican's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Bertol in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Major Barna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anıl Baran Fırat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute Latif Bican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Takacs Tibor. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Baran Fırat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anıl Baran Fırat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 84th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Latif Bican in the 87th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
