The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucio Garoa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Aquiles Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Aquiles Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peng Sha Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 22nd minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Aquiles Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianpaolo Mascari hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Evaristo Benet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Flavio Vittori skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Melchor Gregory tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute, Arnaldo Beturian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 56 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. Dionisia made a substitution. Denis Ereinotz replaced Melchor Gregory. In the 63rd minute Arnaldo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Tomás Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dionisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. The supporters of Italy booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Beturian scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zaccheo Andolina. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Ereinotz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dionisia. Aquiles Senio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 82nd minute. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Beturian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Dionisia's Aquiles Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ereinotz in the 91st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Ereinotz in the 92nd minute. Arnaldo Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
