Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 20th minute of the match. Zézinho Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Soda f c were awarded a corner. Fabian Etor went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 34th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Wilian Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Moraes in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Bonte to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Soda f c defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilian Domingues. The Soda f c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilian Domingues should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Wilian Domingues in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Soda f c's Jonatan Satordi. But to his dismay, Jonatan Satordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Wilian Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Ümit Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Daman in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ümit Daman in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilian Domingues. Wilian Domingues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ümit Daman in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Ümit Daman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Soda f c made a substitution. Victorino Nesto replaced Günalp Parskan. 91 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilian Domingues. Edward Vanderstraeten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Belgium were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
