Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael van der Vaart took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rafael van der Vaart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Tom Rheistein got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Jagger Trevena got a free kick in the 7th minute. The supporters of Glasston booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Golob. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart in the 17th minute of play. Glasston made a substitution. Gregg Didlick replaced Thomas Grandison. Rafael van der Vaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Glasston's Tom Rheistein shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. Rafael van der Vaart struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glasston. Mete Golob had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Glasston's Bengt-Rune Rolfsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 43rd minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Carlton Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glasston's Mete Golob came free and shot a quick shot against goal 45 minutes in the game, fortunately Tommy Kahn had problems saving as it came toward the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 51st minute of the match. If Mete Golob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Rafael van der Vaart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Rafael van der Vaart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes of play, Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mete Golob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Gregg Didlick in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Linus Schwerner. Mete Golob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Golob, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael van der Vaart came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mete Golob sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glasston were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
