Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Özgür Özbek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker in the 3rd minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbek in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lupe Bower didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok. Mert Günok was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mert Günok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mert Günok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mert Günok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mert Günok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mert Günok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Futbol Sevenler Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker. In the 66th match minute, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker to maneuver through the defense. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lupe Bower in the 81st minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Lupe Bower left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futbol Sevenler Kulübü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarkko Laatikainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play.
