Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolando Amorebieta kicked off to start the match. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 2nd minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 4th minute of play. Arkadiusz Banaszak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 17th minute, Olaf Varela reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Cuadrado saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Cuadrado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 30th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Banaszak got free with Wilson Amorim in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Boca Juniors's Arkadiusz Banaszak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caetano Moreira took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Edorta came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Varela got free with Wilson Amorim in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Arkadiusz Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Cuadrado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 64th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Cuadrado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Amorebieta in the 75th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Rainerio Obis. But to his dismay, Rainerio Obis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitzeder Manrique in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hitzeder Manrique came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Hitzeder Manrique kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Bartolomeu Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Jacinto Cuadrado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Cuadrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hitzeder Manrique came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hitzeder Manrique in the 96th minute of play. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
