Kees Mooiweer made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gijsbert ter Kruimer immediately put the ball in play. Eustaquio Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Lito's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Sangue nos Zóio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Silva in the 93rd minute. Sangue nos Zóio's Paul Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Netherlands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
