Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Iustin Bâru made the kick off and thus started the match. Iustin Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Vural Akyol got a free kick in the 4th minute. Iakovos Efthimiadis charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iakovos Efthimiadis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iakovos Efthimiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Felipe Barreto tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 7th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Iustin Bâru made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. 16 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's Cássio Gonçalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Scarafia Ghost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Scarafia Ghost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Amorebieta in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 23rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scarafia Ghost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Iustin Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Scarafia Ghost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Go Ahead Eagles's Grigore Mălaimare quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 39th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moura to maneuver through the defense. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Go Ahead Eagles got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Gonçalves ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fernando Amorebieta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Bâru in the 59th minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Iakovos Efthimiadis hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Iakovos Efthimiadis. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Go Ahead Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Amorebieta in the 72nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Bâru in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Viriato Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Erling Lewandowski replaced Iustin Bâru. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scarafia Ghost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Go Ahead Eagles's Scarafia Ghost got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scarafia Ghost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Erling Lewandowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Go Ahead Eagles had played much better football throughout.
