Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Miguel Aguiar, made in the 6th minute of the game. A hard shot 7 in the game by Jorge Esteves from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. The CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Jorge Esteves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luís Junqueira hit a great ball. When Laureano Rego came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Rego couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's António Brochado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Esteves got free with Keld Paulsen in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Viana in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Jorge Esteves in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 2-1 became the score in the 34th minute when Jorge Esteves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lars Steen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. António Brochado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Nunes. Luís Junqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Miguel Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Brochado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Esteves came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Denmark's António Brochado threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Nygaard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Jorge Esteves sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. In the 65thth minute of the game Jorge Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Viana in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Esteves in the 73rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Jorge Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th match minute, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veríssimo Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 78 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chris Nygaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Brochado having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 92nd minute of play forced CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's goalkeeper António Brochado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Esteves in the 93rd minute of the match. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Brochado having to interfere. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
