An unexpectedly hard shot by Micah Macdonald in the 16th minute of play forced Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Ronaldão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Vilma Palma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vilma Palma getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dante Teofilio hit a great ball. Mauro Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Eddie Willis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 35 minutes into the game, Mauro Cesario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilma Palma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. The supporters of England booed when Vilma Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Gaitan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 52nd minute of play. Ronaldão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Gaitan in the 64th minute of play. Ronaldão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 66th minute of play. England's Kyle Cox got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ronaldão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Seth Young hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Henrico struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Khalid Kennedy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilma Palma. With an all-out effort, England's Ronaldão Penha threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Henrico in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Vilma Palma getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Amancio Su hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
