The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Lito in the 4th minute of the match. The Sangue nos Zóio fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Sangue nos Zóio's Miguel Lito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Luiz Reis having to make a save. With a little luck, Sangue nos Zóio's André Luiz Reis got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Paul Silva made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. André Luiz Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute. André Luiz Reis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caetano Moreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex de Barros in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Alex de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Ola Cavia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
