Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. In the 4th minute Cliff Rowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Adriano Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Obscurials's Safet Hands. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Nicasio Guillen made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Safet Hands having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Safet Hands in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Safet Hands made a huge save. With a little luck, The Obscurials's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adriano Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 36th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Adriano Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Moreira in the 42nd minute. Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anders Westerstrand to strike the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Wright in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Cliff Rowden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Moura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 68th minute of play. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. The Obscurials's Michel Platini was substituted for Cliff Rowden. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Obscurials's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Graciano Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Safet Hands quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Portugal's Daniel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Safet Hands despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to The Obscurials getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anders Westerstrand hit a great ball. The supporters of Portugal booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabastian Norman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Safet Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Portugal's Felipinho Amorim in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Obscurials's goalie prevented a goal. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 88th minute of play. The Obscurials's Safet Hands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Obscurials walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
