The supporters of Germany booed when SARI ZEYBEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Öğeturk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 3 played minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. 4 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya having to interfere. After 9 played minutes SARI ZEYBEK got a freekick which was hit by Arda Göksel Öğeturk. SARI ZEYBEK's attentive Ali Ömer Resai managed to snatch the ball when Willy Stieler made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of SARI ZEYBEK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. SARI ZEYBEK's Arda Göksel Öğeturk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 34th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Chris Mergenthaler made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya. SARI ZEYBEK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. SARI ZEYBEK were furious when Arda Göksel Öğeturk was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Frank Sachs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Sachs really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SARI ZEYBEK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Frank Sachs scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya, making the score, 0-5. 80 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya, 0-6. 83 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tuna Akyazıcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Albin Holweck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 97 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SARI ZEYBEK the free kick. In the 97th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
