The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umberto Cunha was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Barral came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pégasus F. C.'s Lu Xing Song was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Portugal's Viriato Moura, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José Barral in the 21st minute. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Umberto Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Umberto Cunha as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Umberto Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Portugal's Felipinho Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Umberto Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Umberto Cunha made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Pimentel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha did a great save. Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
