Romulo Cesario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of play forced LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper Işık Hurmacı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Elmar Tuulemaa in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Işık Hurmacı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Işık Hurmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Caetano Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Işık Hurmacı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, LİONS PEAK's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Işık Hurmacı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes LİONS PEAK got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Peeters. Daniel Pimentel took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Işık Hurmacı. Işık Hurmacı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gilbert Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by LİONS PEAK's Jakes Arenas. But to his dismay, Jakes Arenas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Işık Hurmacı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

LİONS PEAK's Işık Hurmacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 53rd minute of play. Elmar Tuulemaa made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Attila Szalai however managed to control. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Lange in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. When Deniz Ekin fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LİONS PEAK's protests and gave Deniz Ekin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, LİONS PEAK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deniz Ekin to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Pimentel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Işık Hurmacı. LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
