In the 29th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes Consejo del Mate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
