Elmar Neijsen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camille Baume's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folker Ubels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camille Baume didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teun Schoenmakers during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Teun Schoenmakers hit a great ball. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teun Schoenmakers in the 29th minute of play. Folker Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Philip Traa hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Elmar Neijsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lemel SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Elmar Neijsen got a free kick in the 34th minute. Folker Ubels was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Camille Baume capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camille Baume really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Folker Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Dupuy in the 39th minute of the match. Folker Ubels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Dupuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Swart kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Maxence Durand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Philip Traa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teun Schoenmakers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folker Ubels. Lemel SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Folker Ubels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Peletier to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Camille Baume cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Folker Ubels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Swart kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Lemel SV's Folker Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Jean Bombelles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 80th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Folker Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folker Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Chapuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camille Baume in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folker Ubels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Ubels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rinus Zoontjens made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ton Janus however managed to control. 95 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Folker Ubels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
