Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Bouzas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Medero Medina broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Bouzas in the 9th minute of play. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil. But to his dismay, Andrei Gil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Federico Bouzas took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julen Solera in the 18th minute of play. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Solera, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Eduard Kostelac fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Eduard Kostelac a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eduard Kostelac hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Federico Bouzas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Julen Solera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Croatia's Ilija Skugor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Deportivo O IRIXO getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Enrique Pastor hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Andrei Gil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Gil came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Federico Bouzas notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinko Stankovic got free with Claudio Aznar in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Bouzas took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toni Mauzer to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Julen Solera. But to his dismay, Julen Solera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Gil in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Federico Bouzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Medero Medina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilija Skugor. That made the score 0-10 in the 60 minute of play. Croatia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Federico Bouzas 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Gil in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Fermín Trujillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Antonio Recio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 0-13. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julen Solera got free with Ilija Skugor in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Gil came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. A hard shot 81 in the game by Julen Solera from a close distance when the talented Ilija Skugor managed to make a qualified save. Croatia's players were relieved. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Solera, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Federico Bouzas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Julen Solera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 0-16. When the match was over Club Deportivo O IRIXO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Croatia throughout the match.
