Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gernando Azevedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Arjen Robben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arjen Robben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gernando Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Germany's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gernando Azevedo 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gernando Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Gernando Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Andes FC - FSCMZ. Stefan Stenquist made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Chris Mergenthaler. In the 72nd minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77th play minutes Gernando Azevedo shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! Tommy Kahn had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Gernando Azevedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0.
