Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Guimarães went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hungary booed when Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Wydrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Nunes in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Tomé Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomé Oliveira. That made the score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomé Oliveira could save by the left post. In the 59th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Nunes in the 73rd minute of the match. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé Oliveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Hegedus Henrik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 76th minute. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Oliveira having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Oliveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.! Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.:s Tomé Oliveira showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. 85 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira. Tomé Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Donato Botelho got a free kick in the 94th minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
