Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAN ERZURUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Şefik Karadağ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehmet Poyraz was slow to take the kick. During this time CAN ERZURUM's players had a chance to rest. CAN ERZURUM's Alfred Nobel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pan Wei Quan got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fodor Daniel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The CAN ERZURUM fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when CAN ERZURUM's Pan Wei Quan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joar Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 17 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Poyraz who took care of the corner kick. CAN ERZURUM's Mehmet Poyraz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sven-Olof Vestlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Vestlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Olof Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Joar Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play. Mehmet Şefik Karadağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 66th minute of the match CAN ERZURUM got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Poyraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Mehmet Şefik Karadağ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CAN ERZURUM's Latif Baltacı was substituted for Rolando Betadur. Latif Baltacı kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes in the game Bakos Endre did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Balazs Lajos.
