The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovanni Custódio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Vicente Azevedo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Vicente Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Azevedo in the 44th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Azevedo in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Dagoberto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Luiz Eduardo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Osmar Donato in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Linus Schwerner. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Fernando Schmidt replaced Vito Nóbrega. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Raimundo Bittencourt was substituted for Jimi Drongstrup. Luiz Eduardo Porto made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Osmar Donato. The throw-in from Chris Mergenthaler in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Raimundo Bittencourt. In the 70th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 72nd minute of play forced SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Dagoberto Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game Vicente Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Luiz Eduardo Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes, Vicente Azevedo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Germany booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Donato was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dagoberto Veiga made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
