The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Abdullah Akoğlu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Abdullah Akoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With splendid footwork Major Barna arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdullah Akoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Abdullah Akoğlu made a huge save. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Abdullah Akoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇAKABEY's goalkeeper Abdullah Akoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabrizio Ravanelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, ÇAKABEY's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Abdullah Akoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdullah Akoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdullah Akoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ÇAKABEY's Abdullah Akoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 89th minute of play. Abdullah Akoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Abdullah Akoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hungary had played much better football throughout.
