Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Aguiar went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rogério Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eurico Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eurico Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Aguiar in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Aguiar in the 60th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel dos Santos in the 63rd minute of play. Eurico Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Deleon. Eurico Aguiar scored 4-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Gennaro Gattuso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Luís Fernando Negri in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. When Manoel dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. In the 92nd minute, Eurico Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Olympique Deleon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
