Teobald Budaczs short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Khalid Kennedy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 25th minute of play forced 『挑战者』大连星海湾's goalkeeper Claus Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Kyle Cox in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the England defense, Teobald Budacz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobald Budacz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Teobald Budacz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 『挑战者』大连星海湾 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 顾常鹰 went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 『挑战者』大连星海湾 made a substitution. 汪俊西 replaced 顾常鹰. For all the effort they put into the match, the England players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 『挑战者』大连星海湾.
