Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Fidel Blunt made the kick off and thus started the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Hludzenski having to interfere. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Blunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astral were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giuliano Galoppo took the corner. Giuliano Galoppo made a great header on Astral's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. Fabian Hludzenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Gonzales in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astral's goalkeeper Fabian Hludzenski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 46th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Fabian Hludzenski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Fabian Hludzenski made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Chazen came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Chazen in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fabian Hludzenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Chazen came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. The supporters of Astral booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Astral's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 78 minutes into the match, Fidel Blunt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Blunt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. Astral's Fabian Hludzenski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Blunt in the 95th minute of play. The Astral support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
