The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentino Ospina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Erik Jilek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Rezek in the 21st minute of play forced C.D Escuela Mayor's goalkeeper Antonio Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Valentino Ospina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alan Rezek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Rezek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Jilek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Antonio Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd match minute, C.D Escuela Mayor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ospetsu Villaquilambre to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Eutropio Fonelleda came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Valentino Ospina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Erik Jilek. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentino Ospina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, C.D Escuela Mayor's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Jilek came free, but Antonio Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Hitzeder Retana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hitzeder Retana, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. C.D Escuela Mayor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
