Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 18th minute of play. Carol Stinga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inge Braa's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 21st minute of the match. When Doffes Damer's Inge Braa in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romania's goalie prevented a goal. Romania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inge Braa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Doffes Damer's Inge Braa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carol Stinga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Romania's Costica Vladimiri got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Doffes Damer's Kaj Lund got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Alex Serban scored 2-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greid Tinsmith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inge Braa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Braa in the 51st minute of play. Greid Tinsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 53rd minute of play. After 58 minutes Doffes Damer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sanda Cutov who took care of the corner kick. Inge Braa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carol Stinga having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Braa came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Anton Stinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Tinsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 68th minute of the match. When %teams%'s Anton Stinga was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-4 just inside the left pole, 68 minutes into the game. Greid Tinsmith was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Doffes Damer's Carl Nordlander was substituted for Pier Kopacz. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. Göran Vedholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carol Stinga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göran Vedholm ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute, Romania's Anton Stinga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. In the 91st minute, Octavian Vaduva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Romania's Anton Stinga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greid Tinsmith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. Romania's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
