Paulino Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Braulio Astudillo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the San Martin de Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Astudillo couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Copil came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Braulio Astudillo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Braulio Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Martin de Tucuman fully deserved thier win.
