The audience was convinced that Șerban Chihaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Patryk Dulka made the kick off in the second half. Șerban Chihaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
