The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Necmi Tecer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Adana Sk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Necmi Tecer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Adana Sk getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Necmi Tecer hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game Silvije Santek after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Batuhan Tüzmen. Croatia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
